So I have an older 4510r switch with the SUP-V 10GE sups. It is running (cat4500-ENTSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.0(2)SG7, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2) software.
From everything I read this supports the 4-Byte ASN, however when I try to configure it my maximum value is 65535. I know I should be able to do the asdot notation however the switch does not accept the command.
Is there something that I am missing here, is it simply not supported on this hardware?
Thanks in advance.

According to the Cisco Feature Navigator, 4-byte ASN support for BGP didn't show up on the 4500 until the 15.1SG software release, which requires a minimum of a Supervisor 6L.
