I have 2 sites that are connected via a dark fiber (1gbps). Having an issue to where pushing more than 100meg over the circuit shows tail drops on one side; we found the following while doing a show int gi0/1/0 controller:
~~~
interface GE0, iid 1, port_id 16, admin up(config up), link up
media type auto, current media SFP, failover false, duplex full(config full), autoneg, speed 1G (config 100M)
~~~
Long story short, why is the (config 100M) there?
~~~
interface GigabitEthernet0/1/0
description Point to Point
ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.252
load-interval 30
negotiation auto
service-policy input YYY
end
~~~

you may have dark fiber - but what is the bandwidth you have ordered from the provider?
Another one is Line speed in bits per second - to make more clarify are you sending 100megabits or bytes?
when you sending 100M - can you post show interface Ge0/1/0 human
Try
interface GigabitEthernet0/1/0
no negotiation auto

Please post the complete output to the following command:
sh interface Ge0/1/0 control
