Does anyone know where pvdm resources are to be installed on a 4461? The product documentation says there is 1 internal isc slot. that does not seem to be the case. attached is a picture of the board on the 4461. This picture represents the location where i believe the other 4000 series routers have the isc slot. It is not present on the 4461. I have just 3 IP phones and a sip trunk.

Hello,
the picture you posted does not look like the motherboard of a 4461. I only see one processor, there should be two. Have a look at the link below. The PVDM4 needs to go where the three standoffs from the motherboard are located (in the lower left corner of the figure...

Here is a full picture. there seems to be conflicting info in cisco docs. I have found intro power points that do state the 4461 supports no pvdm4s on the board. There are other docs that say all 4400s support this, I suspect those docs pre-date the 4461. the illustration is misleading. the slot is present on the board but not fully populated as shown in the picture attached. There are conductors but no socket on the board.

I should add that at this point i have confirmed there are no isc slots, the most appropriate way to add a small # of pvdm resources is to piggy back the pvdm4-32 card on a nm t1 card.
