7600 Router

Dear Sir,

i have 7600 router with WS-X6408A-GBIC

so i want to know if i can use WS-G5483 (Copper Cisco 1000BASE-T) on the WS-X6408A-GBIC to connect 10/100 interface RJ-45

so i want to know that the WS-X6408A-GBIC will work as 10/100 or only it work as 1000Base-T

The WS-G5483 only supports Gigabit.
