Needed to configure an 881G with a Vodafone 3G SIM in for an urgent job where the customers WAN circuit had failed
- Tried 3 Vodafone SIMS, 2 x PAYG and 1 Contract. all of which worked fine for data in the phone.
- Followed the Cisco recommended settings for this router/modem model, which is HSPA+7 and only supports SLIP.
No joy with all 3 sims (remote host not responding), evetually after many hours of tweaking we tried a three.co.uk SIM which worked straight away with the original recommended settings.
Has anybody else had a similar experience with different SIMS, what are the recommended SIMS/providers for this model/modem.
