In my work environment we have already setup internet with Cisco 2800 router and using DHCP server as Windows server 2008. And now we are going to deploy wireless access point to supply wireless connection.

So I choose Cisco 891w router, it is only for wireless and it is successfully configured. But internet is too slow for those who connecting internet through this router access point.

In my case there are two routers (different networks):

1) 192.168.10.0 for wired LAN, this is in Cisco 2800 router (windows DHCP connected in this network, and DHCP supplying same network IP's)

2) 192.168.20.0 for Wireless, this is in Cisco 891w router

What I did in Cisco 891w router is:

1) WAN interface of 891w router assigned with 192.168.10.25 IP (this is out interface of 891w connected with my LAN and assigned LAN IP)

2) Created DHCP inside 891w for wireless users (192.168.20.0)

Finally wireless user are able to connect But Internet is too slow . Can anybody help me on this?

What is the speed of the WAN link connected to the 891W?

What is the difference in speed? i.e how much speed are you losing when going through the 891w.

Have you tried plugging into one of the LAN interfaces on the 891w to see if there is a speed improvement?

Also, can you confirm what sort of encryption you are using on your SSID's?

Bear in mind that to get N speeds you need to use WPA2-AES.
Using TKIP may result in 54Mbps at best.
