Accessing file shares behind router using NAT

JOSE TORRES

I am trying to access a file share behind a router where I am using NAT.

I have created a static 1 to 1 translation for the outside to the inside address so all other traffic like RDP (Terminal Services) works fine but I cannot get a file share like \\172.16.1.3\share to connect from the outside to the inside.

Any tips or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

BTW I am using an 806 with 12.2 code, not sure if the router capabilities would be an issue.
