While doing practice questions for CCNP, I came across one that had as an answer the AD for redistributed static routes in EIGRP at 190. I also recall having this heard mentioned before.
I tried to reproduce this in GNS3, but
- the local router already has the route as a static route available -> AD 1
- a remote router (running EIGRP) has the respective route as 'D EX' listed, with the appropriate AD of 170.
How would I confirm the AD 190? Or am I simply mistaken here?

Hello,
I have never seen an AD of 190 (unless it is specifically set through a route map). D EX distance is indeed 170. No routing protocol has a default AD of 190. So it is most likely a typo in the exam answer...
