hallo I have a problem with a cisco1801 IOS (c180x-broadband-mz.123-8.YI2.bin) that does not get sync on an ADSL line. On the same ADSL line a cisco1841 does get the sync.
This is the "sh dsl int atm0/0/0" from cisco1841:

DSL: Training log buffer capability is not enabled
cisco1841#
Command Lookup only said that attenuation is high.
I did not find docs on the Internet about Vendor Id TSTC.
Anyone can tell me info about the parameters reported in "sh dsl interface
atm " ?
A capacity used of 24% means that the line is underutilised ?
What are a good range values for Attenuation, Noise-margin and capacity in down and upload ?
What is the mean of output-power and where is it measured ?
best regards
francesco

Hi,
Compare the modulation(DSL Mode:) of Cisco 1801 with Cisco 1841.
hope this works...
Note: rate it if it works.

Akhtar
