Android Anyconnect still active? Routers to host? License needed?

Is Anyconnect still relevant as an Android VPN client, or  has it been superceded by something else?

In order to allow remote access to my network through Anyconnect, it looks like I need to upgrade from my 867VAE-K9 to the 887 model.

-Is the IOS CLI version on the 887 similar enough that I can paste in my 867 configuration for the non-VPN stuff?

-Do I need to get some sort of license on the router side to get this to work?

-Do the 900 series, or RV300 series have Anyconnect capability?

-Is there a reasonable Android client that would work with the VPN capabilities

of the current 867VAE-k9?

Hello,

-Is the IOS CLI version on the 887 similar enough that I can paste in my 867 configuration for the non-VPN stuff?

--> it is basically identical

-Do I need to get some sort of license on the router side to get this to work?

--> You need de securityk9 license

-Do the 900 series, or RV300 series have Anyconnect capability ?

--> The 900 series supports SSL VPNs (check the config guide linked below)

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/900/software/configuration/guide/900SCG/Secconf1.html

-Is there a reasonable Android client that would work with the VPN capabilities

--> Google Play store has the AnyConnect client for Android (link below)

Does the "k9" in the 887VA-K9 indicate the unit already has the license?

This question was supposed to be about the 867VAE-K9. Since it doesn't have "AnyConnect" capability, is there an Android client the would work with the 867's VPN capabilities?
