Hi,
We have Express Routes from our datacenters to Azure connected with BGP.
In between is our provider.
We peer with BGP with our provider which in turns connects to an Express Route provider which peers using BGP with Azure.
Now we want to use BFD to be able to have shorter times of disruption in case of issues or maintenance.
I am trying to configure BFD on our ASA to have the Azure addresses checked and if unreachable, break down the BGP session with the provider access router.
Is this a possible configuration ?
Because i do get the principle of Single HOP BFD, but the Multiple HOP BFD stays a little unclear to me.
Also, with MultiHop i can configure prefixes in stead of ip addresses, why ?
And multiple lines also, is this an AND or OR function ?
