Ok. We just found out the Aspera likes to be a bully whenever it comes to using WAN bandwidth. They (Aspera) are telling us we need to implement traffic shaping/policing for their UDP traffic(33001) on our routers. Yeah right. Can this be done via a service provider? IE...Verizon, ATT, Orange? I know some things can be done via Aspera to throttle file transfers, but am skeptical about what they want us to do. Anyone have/has any issues related to Aspera traffic and what have you done to elevate bringing a WAN to its knees with this product?
