ASR-1002-X Modules Problems

Hello

We have acquired 4 ASR-1002-X routers and we have some problems with them that i want to ask some questions about them:

1- We have bought SPA-1CHSTM1/OC3V2 modules but the device said "Unknown WAN daughter card" !!!?????

2- We have bought SPA-5X1GE-V2 modules that they are supported but when we insert SFP-GE-T into them the module is not coming up !!!????

3- I have downloaded the IOS XE version "asr1002x-universalk9.03.14.00.S.155-1.S-std.SPA.bin" and applied that to the device but it sais unknows image???!!!!!

Me myself think we should upgrade the IOS that currently is 3.11.0 to solve the modules problems but we can't upgrade that.

Does it have any special procedure or something????!!!!

According to the datasheet, the OC3 SPA is supported since IOS XE versions 3.12.0, 3.11.2 and 3.10.3:

A listing of the unsuccessful boot process might be helpful, to see the exact "context" of the "unknown image" message...

Hi thanks for the feedback but i have solved the problem by upgrading the IOS with the following command :

boot system flash bootflash:asr1002x-universal.03.16.00.S.155-3.S-ext.SPA.bin

Hello,

Could you please share the output of the below:

- show version

- show platform

- show inventory

There could be a possible problem with the rommon version. Are you running the minimum Rommon version required for the IOS-XE image?
