Dears,

I have ASR 903 router whose memory utilization reaches to 50% and the show process  cpu  is only 14%. I want to know where the memory is been utilized for, and is it whether this is normal for ASR router's???

I have just uploaded the suggested software from Cisco.

Thanks

IOS on ASR903 runs as a process (IOSd) process on the linux kernel. Thus, some resources are consumed by Linux kernel and other processes including IOSd process.

You can check the system utilization using the below command:

- show platform software status control-processor brief

Also, please share the output of "show memory statistics"

Vinit

Thanks
