Hi,

we are planing to buy asr1006-x

for RP redundancy we choose two rp3.

as we need 200Gbps throughput, we choose one ASR1000-ESP200-X module.

but can you please confirm with two rp3 we can use one 200Gbps ESP ? As i heard RP numbers and ESP numbers should be equal.

Also when i an doing CCW, after choosing two RP it says>> The quantity of ESP must be equal to the quantity of RP slot selected

please clarify.

thanks and regards

imran

Hello @imranul hoque ,

yes two RPs and two ESPs are required to have redundancy at RP and ESP level

So CCW warns you that you need two ESPs if you have two RPs

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

i need one clarification.

if i buy two rp3 and one esp 200G and install them. will i get the desired output (200Gbps throughput) ?

because ESPs are too much expensive. so thinking that, ig one esp gives me desired throughput why buying two?

thanks
