Assign static IP to WAG320N using PPPoA

Good morning,

with my broadband internet I received a range of 5 IP addresses from BT. I would like to assign one of them to the modem, in order to reach the modem from the outside using that IP.

Is this theoretically possible at all?

Is the WAG320N supporting static IP addresses with PPPoA at all?

When I select PPPoA as the encapsulation on the Setup/Basic setup tab, I cannot enter an IP address on that tab. I tried using the Setup/Ethernet tab, but selecting ""Use as a WAN port", "Static IP", interting the IP and clicking on "save" result in a cut of the internet connection.

thanks for the link. I do not really understand which question of the FAQ answers my question best.

What I want to do is to assign a static IP to the modem itself to, say allow this without a change of the IP everytime I connect the modem to the internet: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?pid=80&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&docid=58abe55b7a774a9181f60f2d1de937ff_4252.xml

In addition, I need to know, how I can assign a static IP to a server behind the router which, say, hosts a website?
