We have locations connected over two service provider MPLS WAN network for redundancy at both locations and running eBGP on all the last miles and running iBGP between the two CPE's.
The server at HO has been hosted with multiple applications and whenever there is an issue on primary path (SP1), the failover is happening as expected on the secondary path(SP2). The problem here is the BGP holdtime which is longer than the application timeout.
Is there any way to come out of this other than advertising LB's over normal eBGP and then running eBGP multihop between CE's.
