Backup link with OSPF

Hello,

Here's a simple topology:

I'd like to know which protocol or configuration I have to use to create my backup link considering that my routers are using OSPF. I only find solutions that use HSRP with two routers.

Thanks.

This "backup" link is always connected but you only want to send traffic across it if the other link fails?

If so, it might be as simple as just costing this link, as little as one extra, over the side-by-side primary link.

BTW, /24s are usually not allocated for router p-2-p links.  Usually a /30, or with newer devices, a /31 is used.
