Backup WAN connection using VPN?

We have a T1 line for our internet connection with a VPN concentrator (for remote users).

We also have a point to point T1 to a remote office (2611 routers). That remote office also

has a T1 for Internet access (2611 router). How can I use that Internet T1 as a backup WAN connection

using VPN?

Yes you can use VPN for this purpose. During T1 downtimes, you can either shift to VPN connectivity manually or use dynamic routing protocol to achieve this automatically.
