Hey Guys.

Beginner here so please forgive me.  I am looking at the ROAS arrangement and have tried to set it up in packet tracer but i just cannot seem to get 2 computers to ping each other.

Here is the config that i have:

Switch:

#show vlan br

10 STATIC active Fa0/2, Fa0/3

20 VOIP active Fa0/4, Fa0/5

#show ip int br

Vlan10 10.16.8.2 YES manual up up

Vlan20 10.16.10.2 YES manual up up

PC1 is connected to FA0/4 > 10.16.8.51/24 + GW 10.16.8.1

PC2 is connected to FA0/2 > 10.16.10.50/24 + GW 10.16.10.1

Router:

#show ip int br

interface GigabitEthernet0/1

no ip address

duplex auto

speed auto

!

interface GigabitEthernet0/1.10

encapsulation dot1Q 10

ip address 10.16.8.1 255.255.255.0

!

interface GigabitEthernet0/1.20

encapsulation dot1Q 20

ip address 10.16.10.1 255.255.255.0

#show lldp neighbors

Router:

NOOOOOO.

Looked over the conf and can now clearly see what I did wrong.

I see that i had the wrong IP tagged on the wrong Vlan.

Never mind me. Im back to learning....

It is a good thing when we can read in the community about a problem that someone is having and then to read that they have found the solution to their problem themselves. Congratulations and a well deserved +5 for finding your own solution.
