there are numerous ways to do this:
1. redistribute static
2. redistribute an IGP (OSPF/EIGRP/RIP)
3. use the aggregate-address command

Hello,
the aggregate-address command is basically a way to advertise a summary route, e.g. a /16 instead of a /24 network.
