Hi,

I am working on BGP Implementation, it a new thing for me.

I have 2 offices connected with fiber.

In one office i have 5 isp's connected and other office 3 isp's connected.

I want to centralized everything and want to use BGP.

Can anyone tell me what is the procedure...

The one that i knows is...

Take the ip address subnet from APNI.

Register the AS.

Now whats next...how i will decide the protocols will be running in internal network, at present everything is static.

I will sincerly appreciate if someone can tell me the details.....

Thanks

I would say that Internal network protocol would depend on what you are trying to accomplish in your internal network and I would treat them as two seperate projects. I would you place Firewall between the outside and the Inside. Why so many ISPs? Just curious, I would probably consolidate to two or 3 major players, and advertise the network out each circcuit, making one the primary and then prepend the others so they are not the equal to the primary. Another option, is to use a product that handles the load balancing for you. That way if you are not that familiar with BGP, you don't have to rely on your ISP or spend every free moment learning BGP and managing BGP. Best advice: Lots of communication with the ISPs so everyone know what you want to accomplish and your networks are advertised properly.
