BGP implementation

Hi,

We are in the process of implementation of BGP for our internet.

the block diagram is something like this

A----ISP1

|

|----ISP2

B----ISP1

|

|----ISP2

Location A and B are geographically seperate, my query is should A and B be linked through a point to point link to achieve resilience??

Means in case id ISP1 and ISP2 for location A goes down, the traffic should flow from B to A.

Point to point links can also be made resilient with automatic fall-over between A and B. Such structures will result in cost implications that must be balanced against any benefits.
