Hello all,,
in bgp transit AS for example i have 4 downstreem neighbours and 2 up streem neighbours,in this i am using stm-1 connectiviy to both upstreems.
assume that customers are A,B,C,D and upstreems are X and Y
in this for example the customer A is using 50 mbps Bandwith,my question is that in this total 50Mbps i want to assign 20 mpbs of traffic to upstreen X and 30 mbps to Y.is it possible .

This can be done with the help of Bandwidth Extended Community Attribute provided the IOS suppoprts BGP routing. Take a look at the following url http://cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6350/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080455624.html

HI Irisrios,
thanks for the reply
can u explain this some more clearly,,
in this example my AS is AS 2500
customers A,B,C and D are in AS 100,200,300,and 400
AS 2500 upstreems Y and Z are in AS 500 and 600 (both are STM1 links)
in this the AS 2500 is assigned 50 MB to customer A ,requirement is that AS 2500 want to assign 30 mb traffic is from upsreem AS 500 (Y) and 20mb from upsterrm AS 600 (Z) from the total 50MB allocated to customer A
thanks
