Booting Problem in 7604 router...

Hi,

When we tried to install the Ios image : c7600s72033-adventerprisek9-mz.152-4.S.bin,  we got the error below:

***System received a Software forced crash ***

signal= 0x17, code= 0x24, context= 0x441e395c

PC = 0x404b061c, Cause = 0x1020, Status Reg = 0x34008102

We verified the MD5 checksum of this image and it`s ok.

Could anyone give some insight on this?

Hi,

this is a crash; you need to open a TAC case attaching a show tech and crashinfo file for proper decoding.

If you cannot get them (because the sup keep on crashing) attach all the console outputs taken after you power cycle the box.

usually better to go direct. Thats assuming that the service contract is set up with you, and what the reseller is supposed to provide.
