Hi,

I have a C7204 router, working in sgbp group, serving L2TP tunnels for the braodband. The router is crashing, with the following message on the console.

TLB (Store) Exception ***

Access Address = 0x84

PC = 0xbfc052c0, Cause = 0x800c, Status Reg = 0x30410003

With the above message, you can not do any thing on the console, as the message is repeating immensly. After rebooting, it workd for 2 hours and then again crashed, and went into RMON. I typed one command in RMON and following appeared.

Address Error (Load/Fetch) Exception ***

Access Address = 0xffffffff

PC = 0xffffffff, Cause = 0x10, Status Reg = 0x3040d003

Bus Error (Load) Exception ***

Access Address = 0xffffa000

PC = 0xbfc0cbc8, Cause = 0x801c, Status Reg = 0x3040d003

Bus Error (Load) Exception ***

Access Address = 0xbfc0e240

PC = 0xbfc04dd8, Cause = 0x801c, Status Reg = 0x3040d003

Bus Error (Load) Exception ***

Access Address = 0xffffa000

PC = 0xbfc0cbc8, Cause = 0x801c, Status Reg = 0x3040d003

and then after, the router has been hanged completely. Even after power recycling, its not booting/showing anything. Its just struck!. Does anybody know this issues and help me out of this please?

You dont tell what CPU your box is runing, but ive seen some HW issues with some CPUs. The first error can be about problems booting on IOS/boot-image. Have you resently changed version? (go back...reformat flash/disk and try loading the old image). Next thing that you can do is to take out all card and try to boot...insert one at a time until you run into the same problem. Last thing is that you have a faulty hardware, probably the NPE.

Look at this: http://www.ciscotaccc.com/core/showcase?case=K18202433 maybe it can help you out!
