We are currently testing a C819G-U-K9 3G router with a dutch Vodafone sim throughout Europe. And it continously seems to fail in the roaming process.
The output of the network status is then as follows:
Network Information
===================
Current Service Status = Emergency Only, Service Error = MS identity unknown
Current Service = Invalid
Packet Service = None
Packet Session Status = Inactive
Current Roaming Status = Home
Network Selection Mode = Automatic
Country = ESP, Network = vodafone
Mobile Country Code (MCC) = 214
Mobile Network Code (MNC) = 1
Location Area Code (LAC) = 37302
Routing Area Code (RAC) = 0
Cell ID = 5115
Primary Scrambling Code = 246
PLMN Selection = Automatic
Radio Information
=================
Radio power mode = ON
Current Band = WCDMA 2100, Channel Number = 10738
Current RSSI = -109 dBm
Band Selected = Auto
Number of nearby cells = 1
Cell 1
Primary Scrambling Code = 0xF6
RSCP = -110 dBm, ECIO = -11 dBm

A complete reload then solves the problem and the router gets back online.
Are there any configuration that can be done so the router will reset the 3G connection on its own?
Or is this a common problem with roaming?
