Can i setting dual-wan connection with only one wan port.

Hello.

I am a cisco newbie. i have CISCO ISR 3845 , CISCO Catalyst 2960G 24 port and 2 30mbps GPON Connection.

I want to combine 2 internet connection, but the problem is my ISR 3845 have only 2 GE port that GE0/1 i used as LAN port.

Then it left only GE0/0 that i can use as WAN port. in this situation can i setting dual wan like this.

GPON1 ---> 2960G GE0/23 ---> Vlan1 |

                                                               |------------> GE0/0 ISR 3845 Combine Vlan

GPON2 ---> 2960G GE0/24 ---> Vlan2 |

Thank you.

It is possible to do what you describe on the 3845. You need to configure the vlans on the switch, configure the access posrts on the switch and assign them to the vlans, then you need to configure a switch port to connect to the 3845. This poprt needs to be configured as a trunk port. Then on the 3845 you configure Gig0/0 to support trunking. Configure a subinterface to process vlan 1 and configure a second subinterface to process vlan 2.
