Hello,
I have a server in the DataCentre and users can access it ok from several remote sites across the WAN. But one site has some routing problems to the server. But users cant download from it. I created a network share on the server and i can upload files to it but i cant copy files back off it to this one problem site.
I have posted an up to date config. MTU size seems ok at 1500 bytes. It can ping the server ok and i can ping and traceroute back to the router ok. I have checked the server and had it rebooted etc. It seems fine also. Users can access the application on the server but cant download files from it.
The network at this site was recently upgraded to a 100MB microwave link.
Any advice is welcome.
Kevin

Possibly faulty circuit in the download direction.

You could be right on this. I did check the network myself but could find any
thign wrong. I then raised a call for our 3rd party network support to take a look and they resolved
it. They say it was resolved by putting a default gateway on the switches. But i thought this gateway would only be for management.
ip default-gateway 10.226.x.x
I have checked the configs before and after and that is the only change they made. I am not convinced putting a defauly gateway on each switch would resolve a problem like this. I still think it was something physical that was changed on site or as you say a faulty circuit that was resolved.
thanks anyway and the user is now downloading ok from the server somehow.
