RR should use DHCP so you should just be able to pull that from them. Unless you specifically ask for a static IP.
If I remember correctly, you'll also need to specify an ip route to use.
ip route 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 (outsideinterface)
Something like that.

Do i put ip route in cli.
How would i put this in on smd interface .
Do i need to add dns server when it asks me?
do just leave the ip blank when it ask me in sdm management? Just a little frustrated.....

Oh, yeah. . .in global config, ip route 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 dhcp (I think you can also use the interface name, but I could be wrong).
For SDM, I'm not sure as I really don't touch graphical config tools. I would think you don't need to input an IP, just put dhcp if you're using DHCP, I believe.

Do you have access to sdm ? if you do take a
look at it and see what you thing. I will try what you suggested. Thanks

Nope. I blew SDM off my router and tossed the discs. I found that generally, in the amount of time it took some of my co-workers at my old job to configure a router with SDM, I already had it done via the CLI.
