i need to order GBIC module for Catalyst 2948G (single mode) with intermediate link.

I searched some products that installed at this Catalyst switch and found the following:

Fiber-optic 1000BASE-SX

Fiber-optic 1000BASE-LX/LH

Fiber-optic 1000BASE-ZX

which of the following modules meets our requirement?

Hi,

Lx and Zx module meets your requirement. LX modules spans upto 10 KM with SMF and for a long distcance you can use ZX modules which spans upto 100 KM with SMF.
