Catalyst 4510R remove username and password

Hi

How do i go about removing forgotton username and password from the Catalyst switch 4510R after the switch has booted up,

Do you mean once your're in the CLI?

no username [username]

I dont even get CLI eg (Switch) switch will boot up and i have the option to press enter the customers Motd Banner comes up followed User:  and then password:  this is what i need deleting, am i right in saying I've not gone into CLI mode ?

OK, you're at the login prompt. I assume you're asking that you do not know the username and password and wondering how to delete and create a username so you can enter the switch? If so you'll need to perform a password recovery on the switch to get into it. Let me dig up a link for you on how to do that.
