CatOS 5.4(1) release date & release note

Hey guys,

I am trying to figure out the CatOS 5.4(1) release date and to find corresponding release note, and I am stumped, a wide Internet search doesn't seem to deliver the information. More generally, how do you find such information for a given release of CatOS or IOS?

Any clue about the answer? Or the way to find the answer?

You won't find it.  5.4(1) is a deferred release and, maybe, bugs were found to be so destructive it's been yanked out of the servers.

Thanks, Leo. I am not looking for the release image itself, just the date at which it was issued... Any idea?

I would probably say mid-2001.
