I am working through a (not that old) CCNA study guide. It refers to a product/ feature called SDM - a web based configuration tool and my guide book advises that you can download it and if necessary download a piece of demo software and run SDM against a loopback address if you don't have a suitable router to hand.
However, I see SDM is EoL and Cisco advises it is replaced by CCP.
My questions are:-
Is SDM still featured in the current CCNA exam? If yes, should I still be able to download it with a valid CCO login? Can it still be run without a router?
If SDM is not in the CCNA exam, is CCP. If yes, can that software be downloaded free and can it be run without a router?
Thanks for any advice.

If you move this to the certification forum, you may get better and faster responses.
