Check Ebay, they have a lot of good labs.

There are also simulators out there as well that run on your PC. I actually purchased from http://networksims.com/. Pretty good

I started out filling my home lab with buying a setup of three 2950 switches, two 3640 routers, and a 2610XM router. All were tested, latest IOS, and clean. Since then I have purchased some more gear for a lot less money. No face plates, not the latest IOS, dusty and with scratches. I don't care how it looks, just that it works. Look hard and you can get what you need for around $1,000.

Check out GNS3. You can build bigger, more complex networks for free.
