Changing to new ISP

Hi guys,

I need help

I have new ISP provider. They will provide the modem. I manage to connect to the modem (remove C887 the and change the WAN IP/ route of the ASA5510 and Internet is working fine.

But i would like to know if the C887 was able to replace the ISP modem. The only special requirement of the ISP modem is that, it need to tag with VLAN 500 in order to work.

Please see attached pic.

Is the new connection fibre or VDSL?

It is VDSL

Yes this is possible.  Check out my config wizard below.  Choose the config "VDSL using VLAN10 and PPPoE".  Check out the config produced.  Change references from VLAN10 to VLAN500.
