Hi,

We are facing problem to establish a redundancy link between two office.

there are two fiber link between two offices and connected with WS-C2960X-24TS-LL via media converter. One media converter is 10/100/1000 and another is 10/100.

When we connect two UTP cable between media converter and switch, one port shows amber.

We have done the following configuration on the switches:

interface range gigabitethernet0/1-2

description ##SP LINK##

channel-group 2 mode active

Please advise us.

Thanking You-

Azizur Rahman

Thanking You-

your port g0/1 is 1G and g0/2 is 100mb, so portchannel is impossible. and useless. use usual stp. so 1G will be working and 100mb will be spare
