i have a cisco 1812 that i want to program at my colocation and i want to put my servers behind the router with public ip addresses. I tried to do it but my servers have no network connectivity. I also want to make 3 of the switch ports on a private vlan for a protected internal network. I created the vlan in the vlan database and then put the 3 ports in access mode to the vlan i created in the database, i also added an internal ip address for the private vlan but those also do not have network connectivity. Im not sure where i am going wrong i used the initial configuration wizard so i am wondering if the options in there are causing a problem.
