Hello Lova,
Did the same IOS image work on this router before? If yes and this error simply started suddenly appearing, it may suggest a problem with RAM modules. Try opening the router, remove and reseat the DRAM modules and see if this helps.
If you have another 1841 router available, perhaps it would be beneficial to try to boot this other router from your CF card to see if the card and the IOS stored on it is capable of booting properly in a different router, although I don't think this is the case, as the IOS image was unpacked with no problems during your boot.
Best regards,
Peter

Hi, thank you for your reply, Peter.
I also suspected the RAM module...is one from a laptop computer would be compatible? I have other 1841 but I can't stop them at this time to do a permutation so I manage to do that next time. The CF card was never removed and never modified. the router was runing on it till it down.

Hello Lova,
I have indeed heard about people being able to re-use laptop DRAM modules in Cisco routers. However, it is not without risks - while I suggest trying that out if possible, I strongly urge you to find (Google is your friend) as much information about the chips used on both Cisco and laptop DRAM modules as possible, with particular respect to the required voltage so that you don't burn out or underpower the laptop memory module.
Please let me know.
Best regards,
Peter
