Hi
As far as i read, need the SL-19-SEC-K9 for security License, what about resources needed for IPS active in terms of memory or another module ?
Is there some GUI to administrate the IPS ?
Thanks

hi,
just did a quick read here:
it turns out that 1941 cant use IPS AIM or IPS NME
are you refering to Cisco IOS IPS?
if yes, then you only need to purchase the security feature license like you mention.

Yes i refer to Cisco IOS IPS
but when i go to the configurator into Cisco site and pick Cisco 1900 series
then i expand the option Feature License, i don't see any thing refering to IPS
see the below screen is the C1941-WAASX/K9
Thanks

hi,
please refer to some text below:
• A single Cisco IOS® Software Universal image is installed on each ISR G2. The Universal image contains all of the Cisco IOS technology sets which can be activated with a software license. This allows your business to quickly deploy advanced features without downloading a new IOS image. Additionally, larger default memory is included to support the new capabilities.
taken from 1941 datasheet.
