hi everybody
just wondering if this can be done.
Using the DB 60 port off of a 2501 or any 25xx for that matter for an
Ethernet port (10baseT or 100baseT) with the help of
some type of adapter/converter.
thanks for your help

No this can not be done. The serial protocols on the DB60 are significantly different than Ethernet. There is no adapter or converter that will make serial into Ethernet.
Among the several problems is the fact that Ethernet needs MAC address and the serial interface does not have a MAC address.

Rick,
Actually, isn't the router itself a 'serial' to 'ethernet' converter? [GRIN]
Two routers connected with a 'back-to-back' serial cable can indeed connect one ethernet network with another.
