Cisco 2600 series: IOS image says deleted, but not really. It's there in flash:

Hello Everyone,

I'm having an issue getting this router to boot properly.  It was working fine and I was using it to play around and learn for my CCENT1.  I went to power it on one day and it just went to ROMMON.  I was able to gather some screenshots on my other cpu via console connection.

I did a "dir flash:" and saw that apparently it won't boot from my image in flash because it's been deleted, as it literally shows (deleted), but it lists it again right below that?  I definitely did not delete it prior to this.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

My config register is set to 2102, btw.

hi,

there's a 'bad file magic number' error and this could be a corrupted IOS or CF card.

try to re-download and re-transfer the IOS to your 2600 router.
