Cisco 2600 with Comcast Business Cable Modem and Gateway 3839B

I am a Comcast Business customer who is using the Cisco 2600 router (specifically the 2620xm router) to connect to the internet. However, I am running into issues getting WAN connections (internet) on the Cisco 2600 router.

This is the setup/specifications of the network:

1. A demarcation point in the building connected with the Cisco 3839B (provided by comcast). It is a modem, gateway, and wifi router in one. I have done the required steps to make sure that the router provided by Comcast was converted to do a IP pass through, placed in bridged mode (gateway and wifi disabled). I have connected individual devices (computers, laptops, servers) to it to confirm that it can get an IP address from Comcast and can also use the static IP provided by Comcast 

2. A Cisco 2600 router that has IOS 12.4 (originally 12.1 but upgraded to have dhcp command and other features). The router has a T1 card in it, 2 ethernet ports (1 port is Ethernet 1/0 with a Serial port next to it that is not used, and the other is FastEthernet0/0), the AUX port, and the Console port. No switches are connected to this router.

3. An HP Proliant with Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. 

I did what I believe is all of the necessary steps for the LAN and WAN connections on the 2620xm router. I made sure that the router hands out IP address to all other devices. The devices can ping each other but not the internet. I can ping everything locally on the router (in the terminal or console), but nothing on the internet. I made sure the NAT setting were appropriate for the LAN and WAN connections. 

*Not sure if this helps, but instead of a green flash light on the modem provided by Comcast, I get an orange blinking light. Not sure if this matters. I already spoke to a Comcast technician who has confirmed the router is on bridge mode, and should be doing a pass through to any devices connecting to it acting as a modem. 

 

Not sure what I am missing here. I know Cisco 2600 is at end-of-support/end-of-life, but I believe I am missing something to make this work.
