Cisco 2620xm router and Multiple (DynDNS.com) host records....

I have a Cisco 2620xm router connected to DSL Modem (waiting for WIC-1ADSL card)......configured for DynDNS.

DynDNS is configured with the following:

mydomainname.net

exchsvr.mydomainname.net

ftp.mydomainname.net

ftp1.mydomainname.net

ns1.mydomainname.net

stinger.mydomainname.net

ts1.mydomainname.net

www1.mydomainname.net

My Cisco config file is:

ip ddns update method sdm_ddns2

HTTP

add »XXXXXXXXXXXX@members.dyndns.org/···e=&myip=

remove »XXXXXXXXXXXX@members.dyndns.org/···e=&myip=

interval maximum 28 0 0 0

interval minimum 28 0 0 0

interface Dialer1

description $FW_OUTSIDE$

ip ddns update sdm_ddns2 host members.dyndns.org

ip ddns update hostname exchsvr.mydomainname.net

A SINGLE Host record IP address WILL update just fine at DynDNS......If I enter any other SINGLE host the IP address WILL update just fine at DynDNS....

- So what command(s) do I need to enter, for MULTIPLE hosts so they will all update their IP address at DynDNS?

- Are my update intervals normal?

Thanks............

Set your router to update a single record, and then use CNAME records to point all of your other hostnames at that record.

Update intervals depends on your dynamic DNS provider.
