I am using a Cisco 3925 router and attempting to install an EHWIC card with no luck. The card I am trying to install is EHWIC-D-8ESG.
I have powered down the router, inserted the card into the proper slot and my router doesn't seem to recognize the new card. Is there a command I need to enter to enable the card? What else I am missing?

Zach,
In addition, the document at
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10536/data_sheet_c78-612808.html
says that you need to run the IOS version 15.1(2)T or later to recognize and support this module (see Table 11).
Best regards,
Peter

Zach,
Can you perform the show diag and show inventory to see whether the router at least recognizes that some new hardware is inserted in one of its slots?
Best regards,
Peter

Guess I should have checked the IOS first. Upgraded and all is good now. Thank you Peter!

Zach,
Rushing for the latest and newest IOS is not always a good idea so you were actually quite cautious in not running the bleeding edge version without a definite need
Anyway, thank you for your rating!
Best regards,
Peter
