Hey all,
I've got a bit of a problem with a 7600-ES+40G3CXL line card intermittently reloading itself, each time for a 3-5 minute period. We've been trying to troubleshoot why it's happening, but unfortunately, all we can find is that the reason it's resetting is "0x8". We haven't had any luck in finding out what this means, but would any of you happen to know?
IOS version is 12.2(33)SRD2a
If it helps, the reset only happened twice yesterday evening, but then proceeded to wait several hours before resetting again.

EDIT: Upon further troubleshooting, it looks like we're being affected by bug CSCth11714. Anyone have a good way to deal with this, even if it's just to upgrade IOS?

It says the only fix is to upgrade - so that is what I would be doing.

Yeah, that's what we ended up doing. My coworkers and I were just curious if anyone had found an unlisted workaround or anything.
Thanks!
