Cisco 831 Router

I installed the new 831 router and was able to connect via the tunnel from my office. Unfortunately once I disconnected my pc from Fa4 from the router the tunnel timed out and I am no longer able to connect to the router from my main office. I did not configure a loopback address, and was wondering, is there any other way to connect to this device without having something on the 4 ethernet ports. I know on the DSL sites, I can connect to the serial side of the 837 routers.

Is there a keepalive command to always have the tunnel up in IPSec?

You should consider the Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) Tunnel Keepalive feature. For more information, please refer to the following URL:
