cisco 870 router

hi all

i have a cisco 870 router when i restart it i can not read the output in secureCRT , it's encoded

anyone have a clue about this

Hi,

It seems the speed setting under line con 0 and your baud rate setting in client is different. Is it a new box you are trying to boot?.

Else you need to get the speed setting from previously saved config and try it as baud rate.

P.S: if you can blindly access the box, try it and change the speed as 9600 under line con 0.It sometimes works

no it's an old device it was working , and i make

a reset to the password then this error
