what happen to my cisco 881 it appearing can't recognized character.
im not able to use any command... need help...

Check your console BAUD settings. You may need to adjust the baud settings on the console of your PC until you get the correct characters.

I agree with my colleague Leo that this kind of abnormal character during booting is usually the result of a mismatch between the speed of the console port and the speed of your terminal emulator. I would suggest that you try various speeds in your terminal emulator - start with 1200, then 2400, and so forth up through the available speeds and hopefully one of the speeds will match and you will see normal characters during the boot process.

Hi all,
first, i would like to thanks for your reply.
i had tried change different speed, it still won't work out.
in fact, i found the problem source because of my colleague accidentally input one command:
confeg 0x124
problem was happen after that. any idea how to fix it or roll back the setting?

It is my understanding that a value of "confeg 0x124" results in console speed of 19200. I suggest that you set your terminal emulator to a speed of 19200 and try again.
