Hi All,
I was wondering if there is a way by which we can configure two ADSL router 867 VAE back to back without any ISP connection.
Is it possible? Can someone provide me a sample configuration to test and study.
Should the cabling be done back to back using the RJ11 Cable or from WAN link?
Thanks ahead.

No, it is not possible to do that by any mean.
You can use G.SHDSL interfaces for that.

Thanks a lot Paolo..
Quick question.
Do you mean to say that i need to use like below shown to simulate a back to back ADSL senario?
(HomeSide) Cisco 867 VAE == HWIC-2SHDSL (ISP Side)
Awaiting reply.

No, you need g.shdsl on both sides.
Thank you for the nice rating and good luck!

Hi Paolo,
the above link shows a demo where one 867 VAE is used as a CPE and the other end asumly connected to another 867 Router..
Is this not a back to back connection..?

Link posted is generic for 800 series, not about 867.
867 does not support back-to-back.
